Little Bs Child Care Center partners with Head Start.
Head Start is a preschool
program and part of Lakes and Pines C.A.C., a private, non-profit
agency. There is no cost for the Head Start program. Families are
encouraged to participate with Head Start by filling out a release so
Head Start staff may contact you and determine if youre eligible.
Limited spots are available.
Why participate in Head
Start?
Little Bs benefits from your
participation by receiving:

classroom teacher.
Increased
resources: age-appropriate equipment, support staff.

Benefits for families
enrolled in Head Start:
Head Start covers the cost of childcare from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, plus
meals and snack during Head Start time.
Conferences and
home visits with staff.
Family
resources and parenting support available.
Qualifying
families are automatically eligible for 2 program years.
What are the requirements?
Little Bs requires families
participating in Head Start to:
Comply with all
policies and procedures in Little Bs parent handbook
Complete 3 home
visits and 2 conferences with Head Start staff
Attend 4
Parent/Child nights
Head Start requirements:
Parents/caregivers must be working and/or in school a minimum of 20 hrs
per week.
Children must
attend Little Bs a minimum of 20 hrs per week.
Children must
have an annual physical and dental on file with the program.
